Welcome to the home of the Academic Lab Management Conference, also known as LabMan.

In 2005, the 6th Annual Conference was hosted by Cornell University, Ithaca New York

on June 21 & June 22, 2005.

The LabMan VII: 2006 conference will be held at Purdue University.
Details about that conference will be announced soon.

What is LabMan About?

Attendees have the opportunity to learn about the various challenges of managing public computing labs and to meet their colleagues from other institutions to discuss common topics and trends.

The Scope of the conference is wide and includes both the technical and the administrative areas of managing computer labs.

The Presentations offer a broad range of topics appropriate and useful to administrators, technicians, managers, developers and front-line staff of academic computing labs.
